I’m shocked.
Impeachment of a judge in the USA is a relatively hard thing to do - especially for a Supreme Court judge.
Congresswoman AOC has had a pop at 2 though.
I wonder if the judiciary will stick up for each other?
Many people at the time said Jan 6th was Trump’s Beer Hall Putsch.

The Orange One is still pushing his hare-brained (& illegal) scheme!
Oh dear, the Orange One can “flavour” the Supreme Court with his choices, but the VP doesn’t like it when the judiciary challenge any illegality:
The list if items being challenged doesn’t include the firing (illegally) of the Inspector Generals.
So apparently, waste in the government is bad, but spending millions of taxpayers’ dollars to be the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl is just fine.
I don’t really see this as a massive deal tbh. I’m amazed he’s the first to do it!
Now the cost of all his gold trips… That’s something else!
They don’t go because it costs a load of money and is an inconvenience to everyone else in the entire stadium. It just goes to show his character - he only cares about himself. To top it all off, he couldn’t even be bothered to get his monies worth and stay for the entire thing. It’s the textbook definition of government waste at a time when he’s supposed to be against that sort of thing.
It’s very encouraging that the Gazans now consider that their home and don’t want to leave though. Prior to October 7 they were all registered as refugees, considered Gaza a temporary refugee camp, and wanted to live in Israel (after killing / forcibly removing all the Jews).
Where does he think he is going to sent them? No one on the Middle East will take them having seen what they did in Egypt with you know attempting to overthrow the government,
Similarly with Jordan too, following Black September.
Lebanon has a very fragile balance between different ethno-religious backgrounds and wouldn’t risk the destabilisation that mass migration from any location would cause.
The only potential solution would be the worst case scenario and the exact thing the UN is already decrying; genocide.
US now seen as a risk, and no longer as a leader.
Congrats, Trump, that was even quicker than I thought you’d manage it.
That’s just someone’s opinion (and someone in the Grauniad at that).
Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are the risks. The USA is a major part of the solution.
It’s from the pre-summit report of the Munich Security Conference, which is held in high esteem.
Now yes, it’s taking a specific part of the report and quoting it, but that doesn’t mean it’s untrue.
Here’s the full report if you want to read it. I’m interested in geopolitics and find such reports rather interesting. https://securityconference.org/assets/02_Dokumente/01_Publikationen/2025/MSR_2025/Multipolarization_–_Munich_Security_Report_2025.pdf
