Kind of cute that anyone thinks that the days of the US *state* or the Supreme Court forcing Trump/his replacement out of office/power just because they’ve been successfully impeached, or have lost an election are still here.

Well Trump says he’s been briefed on what military options there are for Iran. Iran has said if they strike then any US or Israeli locations and ships will become legitimate targets.
I’m not really against an Iranian strike though, given how many protesters are getting killed. But it goes fully against Trumps whole ‘don’t get involved overseas’ thing.
That position appears to have been subject to certain refinements — meaning air strikes, SF raids, etc, are all fine — so long as there’s no enduring ‘boots on the ground’ occupation.
That was never the argument. The argument was always about money. It was ‘why do we spend so much time, money and effort dealing with other people’s problems. We need to focus on the US’.
“America First” was pretty massive in their campaign.
‘America First’ has also been refined to mean whatever President Trump says it means.

We definitely have different cultural reference points:
From the aftermath of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina.
Although I am also reminded of the build-up to the beginning or the Second Gulf War. Fewer protests this time it seems though.
