Get home and read the news. ICE has shot and killed somebody. This was waiting to happen with how many badly trained people they have running around with guns. Then read into it.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says the shooting happened as a “violent rioter” allegedly attempted to run over an immigration officer.
Okay, so I’ve got in my head this was someone already know super dangerous, and they were trying to kill police. Maybe justified.
Open Reddit, first thing at the top is a video of the shooting. It’s practically an execution by our police standards. Sure, the driver was trying to drive away, but they literally reversed so they didn’t run the officer over who was on their offside. Yet when the drive then pulled away, he killed them.
Supposedly feared for his life, but all he needed to do was take one step back, which he also did.
This nonsense of ICE acting like the Gestapo needs to stop.
Also, just seen another video from another angle and longer. After he shoots here, and she drives off smashing into a post (because she’s obviously now unconscious) the ICE guys just do nothing. You can tell they are horrifically trained.
He holsters his weapon and slowly wanders over to the crash. His buddies walk the opposite direction. He then goes and joins them. It’s a member of the public that dives into the crash scene to render immediate first aid.
So from a police point of view, there was 0 follow through with their actions. All he did was try to hide his face. No scene control. No approaching with weapon still drawn in case there is a further threat.
And from a medical point of view, they did nothing to immediately help.
It took over 60 seconds for them to actually do anything, and all they did was start shouting at those around to get back. Including those directly trying to help.
A doctor was there, announced themselves and went to administer first aid, ICE drew guns on the Dr, and made them lie on the floor with their hand on their head.
These people are just utter dogs££t.
“Viciously ran over the ICE officer”. Sorry what. The guy stayed standing and just holstered his weapon and walked off. He wasn’t viciously run over at all.
It’s also been confirmed now that she was an American citizen. So this thing of ‘ICE are only a problem if you shouldn’t be here’ can now go out the window.
Also, also, to add even more stupidity to this, the ICE officer involved was filming with his phone in his left hand as he made his way around the front of the car. Pulled his weapon out and shot whilst still filming.
He clearly wasn’t in a life or death situation, he didn’t even drop his phone! He happily walked in front of the car. He was completely behind it at the beginning of the video, filming someone else. Utter stupidity.
Anyone see the clip of Mike Johnson who’s description of Venezuela is “well sometimes after you break some eggs you have to learn how to make an Omelette”.
So why didn’t she comply if hasn’t done anything wrong. I’m not fully up together on this but why refuse to stop if your innocent?
ICE have basically been mobilised as a militia. They have been given a scope (albeit probably not legally but the leader of the country is saying it’s OK) of stop anyone regardless of ethnicity, violence is OK . So people don’t trust them any more.
It’s a bold statement but I’m getting SS vibes with all the stuff we hear about ICE
Because they don’t care, they’re terrifying and completely uninterested in hearing people out.
Failing to stop doesn’t come close to the threshold for lethal force even in the US
Watch the video,
Armed personnel with very obscure identification markings (think dulled markings that our military use to remain even better camouflaged) that likely wouldn’t have been seen by someone in a panicked state started running towards her vehicle, opening her door and trying to drag her out.
If their ID markings had been clear, then the compliance argument might come into it. But there was nothing to distinguish them clearly and quickly from an armed gang attempting a robbery.
IMHO, it’s understandable that any person in that situation would put their foot down and attempt to self-extract.
If I felt there was a high chance of being abducted and disappeared without due process, threatened with lethal force, and the people I was dealing with are highly unpredictable and unaccountable, I’ve absolutely no idea how I’d react under those circumstances and in the heat of the moment.
Especially if I wasn’t ideologically aligned.
It’s a miracle more of them haven’t been shot in self defence.
Also this. They come up in civvies a lot and don’t identify.
How do you know you’re not being abducted by criminals? Might not apply in this exact scenario, but it applies more often than not.
I’ll just leave this here for those interested…
Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who had just moved to the city.
She was a prize-winning poet and a hobby guitarist, who was there as a legal observer of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities, city leaders have said.
But the Trump administration has called her a “domestic terrorist”.
I see Trump has just announced an increase in the US Military budget from $1T to $1.5T a year.
And warning Defense contractors about the out puts
