Just been looking through the Admin Order - it was dated 7th September and the last save was the 8th.
It was created on the 7th.
The SMS details were last changed on the 1st.
Not only has it not even been submitted for approval, but looks like the I/C hasn’t even ticked their box, nor a counter-signing officer.
There are apparently 120 staff and 739 cadets that were selected and this event has happened TODAY with an admin order only a few days old and not in line with ACTO 10.
I’m sure the cadets who got there won’t care if it hasn’t affected what they’ve seen and done much and this is probably what anyone above would crow about and point to as proof of success.
Imma go touch some grass

I have screenshots of the while lot.
It’s poor. Very poor.
We’re the 739 on the main application, as I know there were several sub apps too
3 sub apps with a total of 18 selected cadets over and above the 739.
I think it’s more a case of some wings and/or region will have made separate applications to cover things like transport? Although surely those cadets should have still been on the main application. I also just noticed from looking at this that even if the main application had been approved, it wouldn’t have covered the whole event.
A lot of cadets turned up last night and the even is only for today.
What is the point of SMS; surly the whole point is to reduce the need for multiple applications

Can’t tell if there are events for those, needs someone in the know to confirm 1st hand
I consider my self in the know in the fact I have cadets who got on the coach yesterday at 2PM and the only application I can see is the main one.

In fairness it is a handy function:
So you have an overarching event record but sub apps enable you to organise staff/cadets and documents to the relevant activities.
We use them locally for our bronze days…
Of course if people are cycling through every activity then it is a bit pointless.
