In something a little different, and inspired by my Cdt NCO’s wanting to completely revamp the squadron’s display boards / noticeboards, I thought I’d create a thread for people to show off the display boards in their squadron’s that they are proudest of (and so I can shamelessly steal all the best ideas)
Our Squadron’s (and Detached Flights, Wings, Regions etc) should be places we are proud of, with display boards that are visually appealing and also useful to the cadets as well as to visitors.
perhaps because we are in a shared Cadet centre with the ACF, but we rely on Cadet Portal now. Announcements are made on final parade that X, Y and Z is all taking place, but it is always summarised as “check Cadet Portal and sign up to the events you want”
as for display boards…I am not sure we have any other than the “mandatory” ones showing the “legal” stuff
Yeah, I found (also being in a shared centre) that any notices or posters were ‘improved’ with additional illustrations of an anatomical nature by our co-tenants.
We know it was them because it was in crayon. Our lot would have at least used a Sharpie.
