Is there a way I can start admin for an event without it being visible to other staff? I want to put together a template event I can clone for shooting with all the standard attachments but don’t want staff to see and share it to Cadet Portal until it’s ready
Just don’t invite any other units, and tell your own staff not to share it?

Try logging into SharePoint with it and it’ll prompt you to change it
Can you still log into sharepoint with role accounts?
I don’t think so, but that’s how you can change the password when it expires. I did my role account tonight.
I believe I’ve used it recently with a generic account, so assuming all non personal accounts have the same office license I think so
Try that? Pretty sure that’s what I use for the generic account.
Just trust me, try logging into SharePoint, I did it tonight.
I’ve heard a few people have this, the password updates ok but SMS doesn’t accept the new one. Might be worth seeing if there’s a support announcement
The instructions I send to people when theirs expire or I reset,
Log into https://portal.office.com it “should” prompt you to set a new one then. Once you’ve set a new one should be good for SMS
And the important bit, do it all in an incognito window so going to Portal.office.com doesn’t just accept your personal account that you’re already logged in with.
Problem seems to be that works, but the password isn’t accepted by SMS. But there could be other issues there, I’ll need to ask for a screen shot.
What I have seen a lot of recently is people not stopping after a couple of attempts and trying the “log into portal..” keep trying to login and the account then getting locked out.
I’ve passed on the message to try SharePoint, SharePoint access is ok. Just not sms.
As an alternative to incognito tabs, separate browsers, etc. Edge lets you create separate profiles for each work / school / personal M365 account.
I can’t ever change my own role account password.
Any time I follow instructions it always ultimately presents my personal account details.
Incognito is the way.

Okay, this might sound stupid, but how does one properly resign? ACP 20 says to fill in a Per Form 1-09, but on that form it says that’s only to be used if you are resigning moving into a different role.
Is there some sort of workflow now?
Or do I give up on this and just send a 
in an email?
