Process to apply for MOD90

Have now got the link and have filled in some of the SC form. Seems to be down though at the moment…

Only gives the option of a ‘print and write’ version… :frowning:

That only refers to the CPC form - have you already got SC and just advising then of a change ? There should be another form for an initial application.

I clicked on the link sent from Wing, registered, started filling in the form, saved and exited. Went back in but now can’t carry on filling it in…

I applied for my MOD90 back in December 2019 - still waiting and chased every 4 months roughly!! Anyone know what can be done?

Honestly? I’d assume your form is lost in the system and reapply. You should also report it as a data loss

Has anyone applied for a first time MOD90 in the last 12 months and has received it? What was the time scale from submitting to receiving?

I need to but lack of a printer or desire to go into a shop to get a photo done is putting me off!

I’m hoping to send my form off today if I can get my photo printed during my lunch break.

Does anyone know if glasses are acceptable? I’m assuming they aren’t.

Off the top of my head it’s glasses removed

I’m wearing my glasses in my Mod90. Didn’t have any issues with them accepting the image.

Oh ok great. Thanks

Think there’s going to be some delay as the CS post that processes MOD90 applications at HQAC has left and its still vacant…

This sounds like CFM :man_facepalming:

Stunning

If so I would definitely chase as the form will contain personal information so will breach GDPR rules and needs reporting

So, how good will it look if we’re not able to restart after a year of no activity because HQ hasn’t filed a few bits of paper…?

I’ve been waiting a few months for mine!

A MOD90 isn’t really going to affect the restart though is it? We probably won’t be allowed on stations in any meaningful capacity for a while yet.

It’s a tiny bit problematic for my unit as the Army Reserve Centre we’re on has a new SSO who has changed the standing orders so that only people with MOD90s are allowed unescorted access.

This is understandable but does mean that all of our CIs need to be chaperoned, as do the cadets.

I was on station multiple times in Sep & Oct to deliver both staff and cadet training, a mix of shooting & first aid.
