It would be more aggro than it’s worth.
There have been more than enough comments on here and if it’s true that our Lords and masters look at it, there has been more than enough opportunity to apply by the rules set and yet they haven’t. Ergo it’s unlikely a whinge will achieve any change in their actions.
What we need is common sense approach that replicates what we experience outside the bubble in terms of masks and distancing, which is much easier to work to, as it’s what we are doing generally. Trying to have our own rules is and has been pure madness. But when we have empire builders at the top and throughout the organisation can we expect any different. This would mean ignoring any niche groups’ rules we have deferred to.

November 01 letter from CAC… 1m+ indoors and face masks to remain… doesn’t say how long for but just that this keeps us in line with Scottish schools… The next sentence goes on about looking forward to 2022. Presumably this means we will have these rules until the new year.

RC(N) suggested on VoV that it’s being reviewed as we speak, so maybe sooner than Jan.
But why send a letter saying hold fast if it is going to change in the coming weeks?

All I read from that last paragraph. Was basically…‘thanks for working really hard so I can keep my job’.

He should be a damn cite more thankful than that and actually listen to our grievances.

How many cadets are in Scotland? And why are we keeping to the rules of schools there, rather than the rules of the vast majority of cadets in England?
Isn’t that why we had devolved guidance in the first place?
It is also laughable to see a letter from a man giving the importance of distancing and wearing masks, when in the past month he has been seen to ignore it himself.

I did Nijmegen with that guy.
(No jokes, we had a cadet who looked unfortunately just like him, the other cadets would ask him questions which required numerical answers, like “X how many kilometres to the next rest stop?” If he answered with a number the whole team would shout “ah ah ha!”
in hindsight it was probably bullying. Bloody funny though.)
