What a cluster
Thanks for the tip.
Myself and my training officer have been banging our head against a brick wall with this. For some reason I hadn’t thought to copy and paste, I was trying t save as a different file name.
Also adult activities outdoor only - at least that’s how it’s being viewed by some youth outfits.
or just save it as a new file?
I tried that and it didn’t work
Copy and paste worked just fine and we’ve now had our application approved.
Version 2 has been released on Sharepoint.
Significant change?
I don’t know really, it’s hard to see changes as they used red text to mark out where the guidance is different for different countries and I think have also used red for updates.
I thought the standard changed to how to do updates? It’s it not meant to be yellow highlight our something now?
I just looked and can’t find it, but I do definately recall there being an announcement of sorts that said that using red to show amendments would indeed use yellow highlights instead. Just checked ACTO 10 and that’s how it’s been done there.
Not sure what difference this would actually make, but if that policy/announcement does exist then whoever is writing the return to F2F training guidance doesn’t know about it.
As far as I can see just the separation of staff cdts from U18s and removal of the bubble limit outdoors.
The link to the NYA guidance still links back to a superseded version. NYA has no limit on numbers indoors or out, but recommends a limit of 15 none the less. That’s England only however.
That’s odd, we’ve had an email this afternoon about bubbles indoors and outdoors.
Well then point them at the corps guidance
Does anyone have any info on expired First Aid quals? Was there any extension beyond 31st March for AFA / FAaW?
I’m out of date and when I go back in the autumn I will be reallllly out of date
Yeh, SJA / Red Cross [1] / HSE have got more recent updates too, but everything only says there was an effective extension to 2021-03-31, but I’ve seen nothing that would supersede this. I’m hoping @redowling might know…

Not that I’m aware, been told I can’t return to F2F until properly requal’d at AFA or I get Heartstart as interim
Wings should already be mass delivering heart start (BLS) to make sure staff can return. If anyone’s wing’s aren’t doing this you may want to bug them.
I’ve been told there’s a 6-month grace period for first aid in terms of mandatory training.
But you still need sufficiently qualified staff for parade nights and AT qual holders still need to hold a suitable first aid ticket.
