Mtp

Wish I felt like a young person :stuck_out_tongue:

I have a nearly a full set of PCS apart from the trousers, i bought the CS95 style of the MTP. The best part of the PCS uniform is the smock, the lower pockets have pockets for your hands and they keep your hands warm. But also while the material is lighter it keeps you cool is also beeps you warm when its cold.

Those handwarmer pockets are a winner! I was going to carry out a modification to my 95 smock to include them.

Donā€™t the Spec Forces version of the S95ā€™s already have them?

or is that just the knock off versions?

I think that the very last of the DPM smocks do have the mesh lining and the handwarmer pockets.

The mesh lined map pockets on the smock are an abomination.

The Mesh pockets in the trousers are more of an abomination than the map pockets.

the hand warmer pockets however are the bees knees.

Why?

I do hate mesh pockets.
Iā€™ve got them in one of my fleeces. Keyā€™s catch in them. Pens sometimes catch in them. Unusual shaped objects that I happen to have put into my pockets catch in themā€¦

As said, anything with even a slight hint of a point. Will catch. And itā€™s such cheap mesh that any tug will rip it in seconds. Best thing to do is rip them out and stitch in a new back.

Fair enough, itā€™s not a problem I have with mine

Topic merged with existing topic.

Iā€™m sure a load of cadets and staff have just urinated with excitement.

My '95ā€™s will do for now until they need replacement through wear and tear.

Well at least thatā€™s over!

I have 4 sets of the things - I imagine Iā€™ll be in CS95 until they are outlawed or until I get handed a full set of MTP-PCS by some kindly benefactor.

Iā€™m sorry, I have just got upā€¦ Is this saying we can start to wear it or just SATT and JL?

Why doesnā€™t everyone just calm down and wait a few days for 1358C to be published? I understand itā€™s written and ready to go, just in the pile of things to be done. If past experience is anything to go by keep an eye on Ultilearn first

My understanding of this document is just saying it has been authorised and here are some guidelines. However, wait until AP1358C has been updated and published before you can wearā€¦

No?

That loose minute is now the extant policy.
Para 8 simply informs that AP1358C will be updated in due course to reflect it.

I donā€™t understand why itā€™s on ultilearn :silly:

Also I know of one person who already wet themselves and may possible wear MTP tonight at their sqn
