i…forum, mainly visited i predict by Staff <40 yrs of age[/i]

Oh, that’s an intriguing proposition. I think the stats might certainly show that more than 99% of Cadets would be below the ‘greyline’

But your distribution curve for staff pitching-up on the forum could show a distribution centred around a more-advanced age than you’d expect. Could be wrong, I’ll blame my advancing years.

has there been a “census” taken of ACC members?[/quote]
Don’t think so, but hasn’t there been some statement made by the Org a couple of years back that the average age of staff that are retained is going up in years (a key point potentially being high attrition rates affecting young staff recruits).

An ACC age survey could be interesting. For people like me that’ve been claiming to still be under 40 for over a decade, we could fill-in our details on a postcard, or get a helpful Staff Cadet to help us log-in to one of these personal computers things…

my opinion on the age of ACC members is purely linked to the members i know and have met (both in the Wing and elsewhere) and the staff i work with who are 40+ not being the type to visit these pages.

i will happily stand corrected, a broad age range on ACC will reflect the real life range of ages in the ATC/ACO

no offence was intended and i hope was not recieved!

Maybe because the ACO has only recently announced that they will issue the MTPs…
