WTO isn’t a ‘deal’ you don’t agree to it, it’s the default, a phrase made up to make ‘No deal’ sound like a conscious decision, rather than throwing caution to the winds.

Bit of a thread dredge. A cadet has seen a social media post from the JL team saying to speak to your OC for how to apply. Obviously, as per usual absolutely nothing at all has come down to me so does anyone have those details?

I understand that the 19/20 course is still yet to complete JL, as their Test Phase was put out to the October holidays due to Covid. Might be the reason why this years applications are delayed.
I’m off the understanding that they have ‘completed’ but without a test phase. The thing in October was going to be an optional skills evaluation of sorts. I know one of my cadets who was on JL has formally got the award now, without the test phase.

Just reviewing the recent graduation pics from JL23 and wondered why the Commandant is wearing what appears to be a Greater Manchester Wing patch on his smock?

He was formerly a cadet at a sqn that is in Gtr Manchester Wing (Altrincham, iirc), so maybe that?

I really miss being on the DS. It was nice to have cadet activities to do at weekends.
