Don’t think RAFAC has proscribed PPE. I’d imagine they’d be more in favour of introducing additional PPE.

There’s no mention of them in AP 1358, and yet they’ve been a common modification for many years. ‘Clarification’ feels unnecessary, and could go the wrong way.
Similarly, the AP / ACP don’t clarify whether tailoring uniform for fit is or isn’t allowed but — given the limited combination sizes (e.g. when you go down a collar size, your shirt sleeves get shorter) — I hope it’s a given that people will make adjustments rather than wear ill fitting uniform?
I would argue the same logic applies to a modification that enables your (private purchase) belt of choice to actually hold your trousers up.

I also find it makes the buckle not quite close properly, because there’s nothing holding it close to the body. The wide hips but narrow waist mean it’s always going to either be to tight or too loose.
And don’t just say tighten it - I’m not a complete idiot!
Are moustaches no longer permitted? Last time I looked, they were, but have been omitted now (on purpose or mistake?)
0166. Moustaches. If a moustache is worn, the upper lip is to be unshaven but neatly trimmed. The moustache is not to extend below the edge of the mouth.

I think leaving rank off is just for cost saving.
I don’t see how including the first name that you are known by in civilian life would aid PERSEC, though? For example, I would argue that ‘FS A. Harris’ would offer slightly more separation from one’s civilian persona than ‘Arthur Harris’.
About this - I got told off for having a pen in the pen pocket yesterday - where on earth does it say that we’re not allowed one? Have we as a corps just invented a rule without writing it down anywhere?
