How to prepare for Dodentocht?

@WhiskeyNovember & @Victor_Zulu congratulations! See you there - I’m going with a small group of mates this year - all of us are first timers, “warming up” with Cosford, Waendel, Pathfinder and Nijmegen!

Start ticket sorted, campsite booked, now to book the ferry!

Anyone planning on doing Pathfinder at RAF Wyton on June?

Given the changes to my plans recently, anyone need a Dodentocht ticket? :joy:

Two weeks to go to this year’s Dodentocht…,

My small group of mates has expanded to about 14 of us - 9 RAFAC connected, 5 others…

Have spent this evening re-reading everyone’s advice!

@Victor_Zulu - are you still coming…?
@WhiskeyNovember - thank you again for helping with that ticket

Anyone else coming out for a bimble?

Hope you all enjoy it. I’m genuinely gutted to be missing it, but loving being in this hemisphere.

Definitely getting the itch to do it again!

I wish there was a way to guarantee the weather would be fine all night.

Couldn’t imagine doing it in the pouring rain.

Thats what me and my partner in crime this year said, made a huge difference.

Crossed the 50km point about 1.5hrs earlier than we did last year!

The beers pretty good, just come and support next time :kissing_heart:

Congratulations to you guys too!

It came as a shock to many of the first timers in our team! But got to love that party on Thursday night…!

All of us agreed that by yesterday it felt like we’d been away a week!

Here’s looking forward to more jollies…

Julian House - “Circuit of Bath - Sunday 22nd September - a mere 22 miles around the beautiful Georgian city of Bath

And… RAFWARMA - “Winter Walk” - Sunday 13th October - an even more achievable 18 miles

And… my son has just said he’s planning to come out and do 50km next year at Nijmegen too!
