HM King Charles III - Coronation Medal

Those staff members need to have a long chat from their CoC about motivation and why they are in the ATC, let alone in uniform. I’d definitely want to know if any of them were on my unit.

One would certainly hope so. If CFAV’s did turn out to be eligible and the cadets were refused, I would be furious. Especially if some CFAV’s were tucked up in their nice warm beds tomorrow with a cup of tea and their wife gyrating alongside them, whilst these kids have been rehearsing up the ying-yang in all weathers.

I’d rather give mine to one of the cadets who took part.

They need more than that. Public humiliation should be the order of the day. The equivalent of Game of Thrones ‘walk of shame’.

I would support this.

If they have time on their hands I have stores that need sorting and a minibus that needs a wash.

Why does the medal say 2033….

Because that’s how long it will take to actually get one if you are eligible? :cowboy_hat_face:

I wonder if Worcestershire Medal Services have noticed that? Seeing as I understand that they’ll be producing them.

We’re not the only ones to notice funnily enough. But they’ve confirmed it’s a 23 not a 33

If would be funny if they are now scrambling around panicking because they’ve made 400k medals with the wrong date…

While I work on the principle of ask is you are unsure about something ask and don’t ask don’t get. Timing can be everything and the above does reinforce the view that some people have for the volunteer. Also it would appear that HQAC has as mush knowledge as anyone else in this matter.

I know two CFAV who are attending one in the Abbey and one with the 48 cadets attending.
Should those people get medal? Don’t know, but if the Scouts and St Johns Ambulance are eligible, then so should the cadets and CFAVs.

1 - 48 ratio! Don’t let the WeXo or Rg COS see that

‘Trick of the light’ my chocolate starfish…

So heres the question…

If we cant get it…

What sort of “coronation event throughout 2023” will qualify us…

Sqn parade in honor?
Wing parade?
Lord leuitenants parade?

Church service?

Popping to something tommorow in uniform and standing there all day?

And no.
I havent emailed hqac
Only deaperates do that.

Check the date on the reverse… :open_mouth:

Indeed; but another 2 or 3 months! That’ll make it a year since T2 applications went in. And there was the statement that there may be a need for a T3; previous notices said there would definitely be a T3 to sweep up the ‘difficult or unusual’ qualifiers. Not looking good for them!!
