HM King Charles III - Coronation Medal

I have just asked the same question of OC TEST

For us, our OC CTT* has contacted me to say he has them ready to deliver; the holdup has been the need for him to get each recipient to sign so it has to wait.

*new name, OC Cadet Training Team

A shame that for so many of us, the annual occasion is just about to be missed…

Dont worry, most people attending are not there to look at your medals

At least one cadet pictured on social media wearing the KCM during a remembrance parade this today.

Mine arrived in the post over the weekend.

That’s good news and nice to see sensible distribution.
We’re being told that we have to collect and sign for them, individually, so won’t get mine until I’m next in WHQ. Next year perhaps?

Well, they certainly aren’t there to look at my drill. I try not to watch the video…

Cant be any worse than the RAF contingent (City of London reserves??) at the Lord Mayors show …That was a shambles going past the mayor!
…All the others looked good though

Cadets were great (including the obligatory CCF cadets in no. 1s on school premises :stuck_out_tongue: ) It was just the officers, whose sole duty was to come to attention, salute at the present arms, and turn and march off…

Lot to be said for the way they do it at the Senotaph for the laying of multiple wreaths (various foreign Govts / dependencies etc) and also the Heads of the UK military, ie person the middle whispers the timing.

*Calm down Rusty it’s just fabric * :triumph::triumph:

lolz
At least this year we didn’t have the senior cadet in no. 1s with sash…

also to be fair I had a set that fitted the cadet very well indeed - normally I struggle for small enough ones but this year had a bigger cadet

last time i spoke on that matter i got in trouble so im going to avoid that :joy:
