Parkrunday!

Decided to use the first part of today’s parkrun to see if I can meet the current RAF entry fitness standards for the 1.5 mile (from the word ‘Go’ until 2.4km).

Beat it by over 50 seconds for my age range, then still went on to complete a parkrun PB by over a minute overall.

I played tourist and went somewhere other than my usual venue, it was so busy (for the relative size of the pathways) it too till almost 2km til i was out of the start pack.

Sounds like the one I started at; the first few hundred metres until you were over a small bridge used to be horrible. Then it’d finally open up a bit and you could put down some pace.

Hmmmm… not my most active year - i’ll blame the new job.

Still better than many manage.

I struggled in September and October in particular, due to illness then transitioning onto keto (keto flu was awful this time) so I’m pleased with my stats. Might go out tomorrow too, but probably won’t.
