Would love to ban telemetry so only way data can be passed is by driver talking to pits - at the moment the wall knows more than the driver
Well that was definitely an interesting Quali session.
Seems the Williams perform rather well in the wet.
Hopefully Lando is ok to race tomorrow, could be interesting him having to fight forwards from what I expect will be a pit lane start.
Probably my favourite driver on the grid these days really likeable. Nice to see Williams on the front row, been a long time since that happened.

Yep,
While I’m glad they did the laps and George got the podium I would much rather have seen an attempt to actually start the race.
Listening to the commentators they might have been better letting the cars go out under a VSC so they could have gone a bit faster keeping some temp in the cars but also meaning they had the faster lap times giving less time for the rain to soak the track again.

#Hindsight a few of the drivers were of the same thinking, it’s a shame we didnt get to see the williams having a go but he could have dropped down the order. I think the half points and trophy will give them a boost for the upcoming races.
Indeed, like you say hopefully that’s given them some more confidence and we see them in the points more often.
At least we won’t have long to wait and find out.

I’m gutted that Lewis was able to do it, all he did all day was whinge.

All he ever does is whinge, it’s one of the reasons I can’t stand him.
I would’ve loved to see Bottas take it away from him, especially if the world championship ends up close.

I was willing him to just go “screw it” and put a fastest lap in right at the end.
