The problem is that the leave campaign can have all the plans for this that they want, but the are just a campaign not the government. All bar 6 of the cabinet were for remain, as for people whinging that Farage has gone back on his policies did they not notice that he’s not actually in Parliament? He’s just some bloke off the street, him promising to put money into the NHS had as much substance behind it as if Kerry Katona had said it.
Boris entire position in this referendum was about the conservative leadership election and making sure that win or lose he would get one of the 2 spots on the ballot paper.
As for Corbyn, I might not like the man and he is effectively done as leader as far as the Parliamentry party are concerned but I can see him winning the next leadership contest as the old labour who think the 1970’s were just great still love him, or even worse they could go with Dianne Abbott who makes Corvyn look like a rational electable candidate.

I think the fact that the leave campaign didn’t seem to have an after plan is mostly due to the fact that unlike a GE this was a cross-party event and each party/group have their own idea of what an independent Britain looks like. Even a remain win wouldn’t have been quite business as usual as each side would have wanted the PM to push for concessions etc to suit their agenda as a ‘reward’ for their support.
There was a report on the radio this morning that EU leaders are looking closely at what happens as they have a very real concern / fear that other countries will look to follow suit, as their general mishandling of the migrants has created a support for the far-right coupled with a general disatisfaction with the way the EU operates and leading to a general collapse of the EU project. I sincerely hope it does fall apart as it is unregulated, undemocratic and completely dysfunctional.
I hope Corbyn remains as Labour leader as he is as about as out of touch as he could be with the general populous. Like Daws says there are people in the Labour party across the board although mainly the wealthy, educated pretend socialists from Islington and similar, who think it is back to the 70s with the unions running the show, strikes, power cuts, 3 days weeks etc etc, while they sit around drinking poncy coffee and doing lunch, about as far as you could get from reality as possible.
OMG
according to my latest Telegraph e-mail Tony Blair thinks he should be involved in the EU leave negotiations as it needs a serious statesman!!!
Serious sucking up and toadying more like from a man who is more interested in himself than a egotistic, megalomaniac in a mirror shop.
Let me think a man who as PM gave away a chunk of our EU rebate and sanctioned selling off gold reserves when gold prices were at their lowest and failed massively while accrueing a fortune as Middle East peace envoy, serious statesman you are having a laugh.
