Saw this posted on that Cadet Facebook forum (with the long name), what great initiative and worth monitoring.

Good on him. Lining a few things up myself, but not above stealing a few from others if useful…

I’m waiting for the govt to do what the media and SM want them to do and shut schools, just so the chatterers can berate them for it.
If I was Boris I’d say well we are doing what people think they want and you’re still not happy. Just leave it to us and stop doing what you have been.
It does seem it’s given all the media something to do since we completed phase one of leaving the eu.

Indeed.
It is essential that all of the top quality stuff is filtered, checked and then put centrally on portal et al.

As an org we must have the ability to produce interesting and useful documents, training, videos etc etc.

Just need the powers that be to get a central cadet accessible repository up and running.

That combined with ultifail lessons and exams will tide us over for a couple of months.

Very happy and relieved to say that I am as of today, Corona free!

We don’t fully understand the virus and it’s short term effects let alone the long term effects. There’s reports of it having a chronic effect, like an Airborne lymes diesease.

There’s a lot of misninformstion and conspiracy theory’s, It’s been disproved as a bioweapon.
But the cadet activities should have been isolated/ceased weeks ago. In anticipation of government guidelines.

This isn’t something to be blasé about, it’s something to Definately be wary of. And shouldn’t be taken lightly.

All training/operations except essential for Regulars and Reserves ceased just over a week ago. With reserve units being told to close and lads not to attend.

You lot should heed that advice, stop all activities and drill nights.

Remember it’s not about whether you are “hard” can “take it” and it’s “nothing to worry about”.
It’s to limit the spread or slow down the spread so we don’t overload the NHS or infect the vulnerable with underlying medical conditions and elderly who can and will die from this.

We are heading towards a complete lockdown aswell. So be prepared for that.

They won’t be shutting schools until the last possible moment.

A large portion of NHS have children, you close the schools, you put more stress on the already strained NHS service.

There’s also various other reasons for keeping them open.

One day in and I’ve already broken. Shaved everything other than my upper lip, and even that’s beginning to annoy me.

Yes I am aware. I haven’t been following this thread until recently because I’m sick of it all to be frank and I’m sick of some people’s stupidity and naivety towards it, not on this forum but in general.

Yesterday was too late. That’s the point. You should have done it weeks ago. Terrible management and some terrible attitudes.

I like that the sports news is still going ahead on some channels, but they’re just talking about how there isn’t any sport.

Thankfully I watch the only sport that seems to still be on.
