New guidance, saying region needing to re-approve activities in amber/red zones… a few minutes before they all slope off for a round of golf. Anything happening Monday/Tuesday is cancelled.

To be fair am in red zone & had a barrage of emails I’ve the last 24/48 hrs.
One at about 10:45 this morning said of the need for reapproval at region level & region staff would be in till 1600 to work through events.
Really helpful for all the CFAV who are employed 9-5…

Red warning was issued at 10:30 & had been prepped the night before on possible changes. I think they got the Comms right on this one. Cascading in an effective way with out blanketing.

It’s almost as if an otter faced, chiphat wearing, someone spent some time on Teams yesterday with their former WCO, who now works at HQAC, identifying the issues with the last guidance, and it being passed on?

It also strikes me, that as a simple workaround, the easiest way to use the JSP375 tables as a guide for children may be just to treat them as unacclimatised and wearing the clothing above what they actually are. So if they’re in PT, use the MTP table, if in MTP/No2 - Body armour table?
Seems a sensible way of starting at least?

That makes the assumption that the map is accurate and we all know how accurate the Met Office is!

… but its Wg Cdr… not sure what a WCO is…
Wg Cdr = Rank (Wing Commander)
WCO = Role (Wing Commanding Officer)
I think it should be OC Wg though, as they the Officer in command, rather than a Commanding Officer which is OF5+ I think
