The shuttle has United States on the side and this looks like something a cadet may have produced.
Did I miss a competition?

Did I miss a competition?
Might mean a big camp to America?
Looks ok to me. Just thinking, what proportion of new CFAVs have no cadet background (neither parents of cadets nor former cadets)?
Oh dear
Do…
Not…
Tease…
Me…
That’s the dream right there love that place
How has this passed QC? Oh, right… It doesn’t exist.
Good God.
I suppose we’ll need to see what it looks like in a newspaper and on TV. I want to see this before or after the erectile dysfunction and hair loss ads doing the rounds.
The "adult volunteer’ bit is too small. This looks for all the world like a lazily produced generic picture where you can change things to suit. The shuttle is too cliched.
Mother of god that is super gash
This is actually a really good point. If this is a campaign to get adult staff on board with us, this bit should be most prominent!
I hadn’t even noticed that on there. And took me a while to find after reading that it was
So the first Twitter post talking about it has gone up…
…and it’s got absolutely nothing to do with rockets, space shuttles or space.
Love a coherent message…
Anyone noticed that the graphics produced for Social Media explicitly push new volunteers to be Civilian Instructors first rather than SNCO?
And we wonder why we have a shortage of SNCOs (and uniform staff generally)
Also on this note, it’s damn confusing following their twitter at the moment. They are trying to push two separate messages. One about the 80 miles in 80 days and the other about CFAV recruitment.
Also something I’ve been thinking. Is just sharing stuff on our SM actually worth-while? I recon 95% of the people who follow @aircadets on twitter/facebook/insta are already in the organisation? Surely a bigger focus on sponsored posts should be a thing.
The linked page says;
"Really show your skills in these areas and you could end up taking on more responsibility and moving up through the ranks as an officer or senior non-commissioned officer (SNCO).
Of course, first you have to join as a Civilian Instructor"
100% agree. Massive flaw in their plan and blindingly obvious.
Hope that the newspaper and radio stuff will be done better.
Which is incorrect and not the policy . . .
You can direct entry as an SNCO or a CI. . .
SNCOs (ATC) may also be appointed as direct entrants and it is not necessary for an applicant to have previously served in any capacity before their appointment
ACP 20 PI 301 para 2
Not only incorrect, but condescending too!
Blasé remarks about “selection interviews” and “spotting your potential” just reads like we’re recruiting apprentices, not potentially fully fledged adults with lives and careers.
Definitely. Social media is good but we should really be looking further afield to properly reach lots of people.
Which is weird in itself. If you can be a direct entry SNCO, why not a direct entry Officer? We’re not special.
