He meant the whining about it
Yeah this
It’s no different to VGS Cadets wearing wings and being able to fly staff.
ain the good old days, I as (CO) was flown by one of my cadets who is now doing his Captains course with Emirates… If they are qualified, they’re qualified. !
I would agree about the white belt - it merely says ‘look at me, I’m wonderful’. but the pace stick has a real function and should be used as an instructional tool.
Isn’t that what officer rank slides are for?
I think all Sqn Cdrs regardless of rank should have aiguillettes in recognition of the tough role they have volunteered for….
Yes - especially the gold rings on No5’s !
Agreed - and gold oak leaves on their cap peaks !
You think too lowly of us. We should all have crowns to symbolise our reigning over the fiefdom that is a squadron!
Swagger sticks. Like a pace stock but without any discernible function. Perfect metaphor for officership.
Or swords
Now swords definitely have a function. How else is one supposed to open champagne in the mess?
Thats exactly why they used to carry them !
Hi would you be able to give the source for this. Im rather interested in reading the original version
