We could all do with a hope and a dream now and again!
We’ve had a girl box with hairnets, hariclips, sanitary items, tights for as long as I can remember, but potions/lotions etc no. Not sure I’ve heard of a boy box and not sure I’d ever get one, shaving soap, foams and creams are a personal item, only needs one bad skin reaction and a world of pain and reams of online documents from H&S would ensue.

So, I have my inspection this week, I’ve been able, through time off and Fairbourne to put it off for a while and am now 3 weeks in.
Anyone else giving it a go?

I’m not even sure if I could grow a moustache given three weeks.
Mine’s all approved. Got confused for someone that transferred in from the Navy recently.

Be interested to see if mine actually gets a formal inspection.
I managed a 2 week run up at the go live date so now working with 7 weeks worth of growth!
Mine was prompted by my asking for permission. I emailed the Wing Co, next thing I got an email from the WWO.
Bit different circumstances being full time and all, but my “inspection” consisted of me asking my boss if it’ll do. Then him not bothering to look up from paperwork whilst my FS and Chief started comparing me to the Yorkshire ripper…
But much to the wife’s great dismay, it’s been approved.

Similar, I had to email Wg Cdr, WWO followed up with requirements. After 2 weeks, I had to send photos r&l profile and face on before it was passed.
I think my wife is hoping the WWO turns mine down too…

I’ve seen some OC’s in our wing on their Facebook pages and I have to say they look shocking! They shouldn’t be allowed to be photographed until it’s grown and looks decent. They look scruffy in my opinion.
