At the moment I think anyone viewing the nominal rolls for the activity can see the flags. Willing to stand corrected.
Ah, well yes… That’s another thing.
Although, if they can’t see the details then for all they know you might have hayfever, or be allergic to penicillin.
There are bound to be dozens of flags in any Wing. If not more.
Not ideal, but probably not giving much away
Exactly. That’s my problem.
It’s really not great. As I said, may lead to questions that don’t want to be answered. Would make a lot more sense if only DS could see the flags.
Something to consider for Units perhaps…
I’m more comfortable with seeing the flags for cadets - round up the TG23s - than for staff, who I would hope I can trust to disclose any relevant issues to me as the person in charge.
Possible compromise:
All Directors on an activity can see a cadet’s flag
AIC can see those of staff
Something like that, yes.
Ok thanks.
I just call ours the wing ‘Nerd’.
Just dont declare them.
I know many, many staff who havent.
As an aside… if anyone can beat this, I will be amazed…
My last camp as camp com… not one but two cadets presented with “severe and persistent enuresis” on their tg23s…
I had to look it up.
Then phone each cadets OC to ask if this was a wind up.
Then call stores to ask for extra bedding sets.
na that’ll be your wing webmaster or IT officer
Indeed. As Paracetamol says too, just don’t declare if you don’t want anyone to know.
But I think as an Activity Commander I’d be pretty much obliged to enquire if a cadet shows up at an event with a medical condition on SMS but no TG23. If they’re under 16 (and hence can’t fill the form in on their own), do I need to send them home as they don’t have proper TG forms? What if I don’t ask and they have a medical episode… hmm.
This is about Bader Tips. Please take other chat elsewhere.
Somebody’s grade isn’t the same as their job title - it’s more like a pay band. It wouldn’t be helpful if somebody was looking to identify subject matter experts. I also work for DfT and I just picked the closest role to mine (unusual phrasing “Architectural Technologist” !?!)
In fairness this is what I reccomendded they do.
SMS still just giving error 500 - Internal server error for me.
On my VP under my profile, it shows my contacts/vetting details, but the other tabs are not showing any details.
When you log in? on a particular page?
I’ve logged in just fine.
Ironically, my occupation is listed on VP, whereas most insurers don’t.
This is on log in. It gives me the spinning wheel then chucks out the error.
What if you try on incognito/private browsing?
