I’m getting hit in the wau PO Prune mentions above, a real pain in the ****.
Would you have preferred they send you an email to tell you there were problems with emails, or perhaps a personal phone call?
No, but it could have been put on the generic announcement page of HQAC Sharepoint; thats how the rest of us using Sharepoint for work purposes get generic information out to people.

If i have a problem with a system at work, i go to the IT services page to see if it’s a known fault before reporting it. Not the main homepage where there are thousands of items and issues vying for my attention.
Same issue with Outlook 2013, the server address seems to have changed to a local address not accessible over internet, have send a request to the Helpdesk
Likewise, though I needed to “repair” the account to get it to retrieve the correct server settings.
It’s definitely a recent fix as it was having none of it yesterday.
