Blank screen and intermittent scratchy audio here too.
I’m investigating at the moment. Thanks for the heads up.
Ditto. Sounds like sombody shouting from a Pitts Special.

We think the site is traffic managed and the stream should settle down at non peak times. Fingers crossed.
I have video but no audio. Webcam is angled a bit off to the left but otherwise looks good.
Edited to add: Is the webcam screen visible to the pilots? I’ve asked a couple of questions but haven’t had a reply yet :crying:
Is someone keeping a log of all these pilot error incidents I’m seeing?
It’s a WO pilot…explains it all really.
I’ll move the camera when the pilot sorts his act out
Ahh yes, I thought I saw him storm out in disgust after that last water landing
Which flight sim program are you using?
Just realised something. It’s probably best we don’t mention this, 184sqnATC. I would end up driving too much traffic to the video feed.
Barber: I agree, it can be ACCs little secret. I reckon a premium site would be better for us next time.
Op Claret: We are using Window Flight Sim X
@Barber. You can still direct people to the Twitter an FB site. We are updating that all the time.
Might be worth reminding the pilots and crew that they ARE on an open channel being streamed world wide. Some of the language I’ve been hearing over the last 30 mins or so doesn’t show the squadron in a particularly good light.
Thanks for the heads up. They’ve all been reminded about their language and behavior.
Sorry I tweeted same thing. Great project but this mornings Beijing fun wasn’t a great advert. Lots of foul language and your pilot kept missing atc commands because he was talking about McDonalds.
It doesn’t detract from the excellent idea, been showing our staff and even our regional MCO the idea, We are now looking at something similar. Will have to find a new twist mind you! Thinking of perhaps a bit of Vulcan if it’s got the range and we can muster the Sims air to air refuelling!

It’s got us thinking too… might book out the RAC and use it for something purposeful.
Such a brilliant project, it has had a number of my colleagues talking too - very inspirational!
Well done to 184 Squadron. An excellent example of challenging your cadets, venture adventuring and keeping the “Air” in “Air Cadets”. Awesome stuff!
Wow, what a weekend. Thanks for all the support you’ve given us.
Now ideas for next year…

I have a Victor configured as a tanker which can refuel other aircraft in FSX. I’d be happy to send you the model. It would be very good if the next flight could be up on a server so that appropriately skilled pilots could join you for various legs. You could work in a scenario whereby they have to divert to a military airbase and are escorted in by a pair of fighters. That could make things a lot more exciting for the cadets.
