Hi All
I’m calling from 184 (Manchester South) Sqn. We have a project this weekend that we would like to get as many Air Cadets and staff involved with as possible. We are doing a 48hr “Flight Around The World” (FATW) in our brand spanking new flight simulator. It involves every cadet on the Sqn working in shifts as pilots, co-pilots, navigators, cabin crew, air traffic, flight operations and as a media team.
The aims of the flight are detailed below
a. To give the cadet SNCO team leadership & project management experience
b. To provide whole squadron team building that is aviation related
c. To raise Squadron funds
d. To provide the cadets with an experience they couldn’t achieve alone
e. To improve the cadets awareness of the aviation industry.
The media team will be manning the Sqn Twitter & Facebook pages at all times from 2000hrs Friday to 2000hrs Sunday. They’ll be updating social media pages with pictures, videos, flight updates and interesting facts about the locations we’ll be flying over/to.
It would be fantastic if you could get involved with our project by keeping them busy by tweeting, commenting and asking questions about the FATW.
You can find us in the following places:
