I have been talking with the producer of our local “Cadet Review” magazine in Yorkshire and the Humber (everything also available as an online back catalogue on a single link) and was going to raise it for discussion in the new year, perhaps doing either an annual magazine or a bi-annual one.
This was an interesting post from the South West Region Sea Cadets about their HQ. What really caught my eye, was the titles of the permanent staff “Volunteer Support Officer”, “Training Officer”. Hard to tell exactly what the do, but you could imply that that they are their to support the volunteers…
And we have what, admin officers? Whose namesake suggests they just create admin?

4 staff on Sussex recently received certificates from the Resuscitation Council.
We need to raise awareness for units to submit this stuff to the national level.
