Also in Liverpool at the same time is a galleon which is behind them and I suspect the cadets went aboard.
I suppose that, for now, covering both the government and official opposition provides balance. I suspect that might change if the next election kills off the two party system.
I keep seeing the Army Cadet Charitable Trust come up with their fundraisers and fundraising efforts. Can’t say I’ve ever seen anything similar from national level HQAC or Air Cadet Charity.
I appreciate it’s a Facebook link to a BBC page but good news nonetheless

Luton Sea Cadets helped in final Challenge Anneka episode - BBC News
Saw this on Facebook of the sea cadets national competitions & events.
I wasn’t aware that the Sea cadets had a dedicated field of remembrance - what a lovely idea.
And where is the RaFAC plot?!?!
Same at National Arboretum, no RAFAC memorial.
There is, the Cadet Forces’ Memorial. Obviously, it says Air Training Corps.
The question is better worded as “do we have an Air Training Corps / RAF air cadet equivalent”
It would be nice to have one if we don’t.

It would be nice to have a bit more of a substantive memorial - perhaps a 3d representation of the obverse of the cadet forces medal.
The RAFAC doesn’t exist.
Except maybe for the Staff?
Exactly no such thing, It’s the ATCa nd the CCF(RAF)!
As you drive past the Southampton TA centee that houses both the ACF and ATC theres huge interactive bilboard promoting the need for ACF volunteers. ATC not mention at all. Bit depressing really
This is where HQAC need to start getting their act together, if not we’ll get left so far behind the ACF in the ‘30 by 30’ aspiration.
There are only so many teenagers out there, and ACF will be getting them first ![]()
All your CFAVs are belong to us.
It’s not the ones they catch you have to worry about - it’s the ones that they go “the ACF maybe not be for you, have you thought of the Air Cadets?”
Or the SCC?
Driving around Oxford a few times recently and Oxford Sea cadets seem to always have adverts on local radio (Greatest hits whatever the local one is), this was being advertised last week.
