With the pending promotion of the new ACM in June it may all be on hold for his new broom.

He will take some beating in my opinion, especially given his views on the RAFAC.
I spoke to him at AEF once (where he’d turned up to fly cadets all day). He said the cadets afforded him his first chance to go on a holiday, and that the organisation was the making of him. He also said he needed to keep his flying hours up, and what better way to do it, than flying cadets.

One Air Commodore is due to tourex in September and a promotion to AVM is likely, one Jez Attridge former Stn Cdr Coningsby, at present military attaché in Washington.

Top guy aswell…gave cadets some crap for calling him Sir and not Jez.
Everyday at camp st Conningsby he would come buy and check everythings good.

He’s a good chap. I knew him when he was on the Harrier Force. Apparently he got the nickname ‘Cab’ because he took the canopy off a Harrier during AAR - cabriolet Harrier!
Had his first visit to RAFAC HQ yesterday. Looks like he is going to get stuck in which is great!
