  1. The names, images and logos identifying ACC or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of ACC and/or third parties. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any licence or right to use any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of ACC or any other third party.

Contributions to

Where you are invited to submit any contribution to (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant ACC a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenseable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in ACC’s Privacy Policy. If you do not want to grant to ACC the rights set out above, please do not submit your contribution to

10.1. warrant that your contribution:
10.1.1. is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to ACC for all the purposes specified above;

10.4 Any photographs, images, or video submitted to ACC are to be posted with good intentions and aimed at constructive commentary, not with the aim of harassing, belittling, victimising or otherwise cyber-bullying the person(s) depicted. The moderation team will have the final say on whether a picture is acceptable or not. Any posts breaching these terms will be removed and the poster responsible may have sanctions applied against their account.

  1. You agree to use Communities (including ACC Forums and Wiki) in accordance with the following Community Rules. These apply across all community sites and services. You should, however, read the local house rules of the particular site or service you’re using, as there may be some local variations to these

12.0 About your posts:

12.1 Contributions must be civil and tasteful.
12.1.1 ACC is viewable and usable by people of all ages, genders, races, religions and locations. Please be mindful of this when posting.
12.2 No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble. This is called Trolling, and will not be tolerated.
12.2.1 ACC is not a place for settling disputes. If you have an issue to resolve do it away from
12.3 No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable. This includes links to other websites that may hold the aforementioned material.
12.4 Swearing will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form. ACC uses swear filtering to prevent posts contained offensive language. Any attempts to circumvent these filters (ie by using numbers in place of letters or misspelling the word) shall be considered a breach of this AUP and action may be taken again the user.
12.5 If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community or annoying other users you may have action taken against all of your accounts.
12.6 Be patient: users of all ages and abilities may be taking part in the relevant community.
12.7 No spamming or off-topic material: we don’t allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions. Please don’t re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
12.8 No editing of moderated comments in your posts - they have been moderated for a reason.
12.9 No advertising.
12.10 Contributions containing languages other than English may be removed unless allowed in the relevant local house rules. This includes the use of text talk.
12.11 No impersonation.
12.12 No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.
12.13 Signatures are limited to four lines of text or equivalent image height. Image dimensions in signatures should be no greater than 1024 pixels wide and 512 pixels high.
12.14 You may not refer to non-cadet specific URLs (web site addresses) unless allowed under the relevant local house rules. If you know of a worthy web site relevant to the discussion topic, please inform the host of the community area.
12.15 Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not permitted. If you persist in doing this action may be taken against your account.
12.16 Moderators decisions are final. If you wish to complain about moderation, in the first instance, contact the moderator directly, then an Admin, and finally @DJRice. Moderating decisions will not be questioned in the open forums as this is not constructive.


13 We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself
or anyone else (for example: telephone number, home address or email address), and please do not include postal addresses of any kind. If you have a helpful address to share, inform the host of the relevant community area using the Private Message system, and they will promote it if they see fit.

About the law:

14.01 You may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in communities. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
14.02 Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited. Any content breaching this rule may be handed on to the relevant authority.
14.03 You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
14.04 The views expressed in community areas are those of members of the public and are not necessarily those of ACC, The ACO, the wider RAF or any other organisation.

14.06 Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example, telephone number, home address or email address).

If you breach these Terms of Use:

15.01 If you fail to abide by these Community Rules (and/or any variations in the relevant local house rules) when taking part in a Community service, you will be sent an e-mail (or private message in the forums) which informs you why your contribution has been failed or edited. This mail will also include a warning that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against your account or accounts.

15.02 This action may include your relevant account or accounts being placed into pre-moderation or a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to participate in any or all of Community areas.
If you post or send offensive or inappropriate content anywhere on or to Communities or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on, and ACC considers such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, ACC may use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school, unit or email provider about the infringement/s.
15.03 ACC reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.


16.01 If there is any conflict between these terms and specific terms appearing elsewhere on (including local house rules) then the latter shall prevail.

16.02 If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

16.03 These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
