At the Gurkha Palace.
The lad apparently wanted “a curry from the restaurant” for his birthday. So the missus and me definitely aren’t complaining.
Interestingly, the building opposite is “Trenchard House”. Currently a museum but originally the first HQ of the RAF.

I have a friend who lives about a mile from there, and I’m long overdue a visit. Looking at options to suggest when I pop down.

I would sell organs to eat here.
We’ve been coming here for about 6/7 years. In my mind this has ruined other curry houses for me.
Staff can come across as a little distant, but the food is incredible.

Wouldn’t go for a curry with a bear. Tad unpredictable.
I’d be 100% down and would recommend.
They don’t do “standard” curries though. It’s Nepalese, the only one they do that’s a standard one is a tikka masala.
