To be honest I’m not expecting anything but doom and gloom; VA cut, activity decrease, bigger admin burden etc…when should we change the ‘V’ in CFAV to victim?

Long time lurker here. I have volunteered in this organisation for over 10 years and the last two or so have been the hardest. Constant beaurocracy from all directions and being responsible for things I am in no way qualified for (as an OC think H&S etc.). There is so much wrong with this organisation I cannot see how it can improve. My resignation is ready to go as I suspect this evening may be the final blow. I used to be full of passion for this organisation but it has been beaten out of me and I am defeated.

Im trying to keep an open mind till later but i fully expect VA reduction and tightening of 1771. Adult Cpl’s would get my vote as well.

Very difficult to keep an open mind at the moment. I really enjoy being part of RAFAC (second tour for me) but with everything that’s going on I’m wondering whether it’s all worth it…

It’s a shame that CAC is doing things that, in our heart of hearts, we all know need doing - but in doing so many of them in a cack-handed way, and with such astonishingly poor communication skills, that the damage he’s doing is greater than his far less thoughtful predecessors have done.
Doubtless there’s a Greek tragedy that mirrors this…

Like most Govt announcements I think most of the news has been trailed and leaked over the last few weeks so I am not expecting any major earthshattering news… but you never know.
Safe to say for a full house you need “cost control” “savings” “reductions” “viability” “risk” and for the hell of it throw in an “ASTRA” and “Cadet Experience” - might even get a “flying” in there, that would be novel!
