You know what really makes me laugh?

When I was in a union, I wasn’t asked to vote for Labour leaders. I believe it’s only affiliated unions.

Are you seriously suggesting that it only matters that Boris was caught, not that he was guilty?!

I tend to assume they are all guilty.

Correct but at their members who pay for the monkeys get a chance to.

When all this was kicking off I have been so what. I couldn’t care less as a lot of people were breaking the rules laid down, in both places I worked we sat in tea bars/staffrooms and gathered when people left, if they came in. But because we are not in the public eye no one cares and more importantly no one took photos or put stuff on SM. I am very much in the camp of he who is without sin.

In the case of Boris’ “parties”, have all the others in the photos been sacked or pursued through the media, to get them sacked? Thought not.

I will guarantee people will be scanning candidate’s SM, emails etc and this merry go round of destabilising BS will carry on.

Those ‘people’ were not the PM, he was! Barking out orders of social distancing and getting vaccinated etc. If he (The Clown Minister) can’t adhere to the rules, then why should us peasants stick to them?

Is that all you think this is about? Oh dear.

Do you expect more in depth insight from the person who thinks Suella Braverman would be a good PM?

I genuinely feel they should do a form of personality assessment on all candidates.

I’m not suggesting looking deep at any potential disorders/a clinical focus but from a occupational perspective, looking at their day to day and what is know as the dark side, their derailers.

Back on topic, apparently how BoJo is hanging on because he wants a wedding party at Chequers as he numbers were limited because of Covid for his actual wedding. I’m sure they’d be lots of hangers on but interesting how many people would genuinely actually want to go to celebrate them.

Probably more than you’d think.

Publishers and Journo’s wanting to land that inside scoop and get him signed up for a book deal for starters.

Oooh like US Senate Appointment Hearings for top jobs…

Then we would only get the blandest of the bland - no one ever is that squeaky clean - we all were young/stupid/foolish/pick your adjective/ once. With todays SM there is always the chance that something from way in the past can come back to haunt you

Despite what everyone tells us about UK Democracy not being Presidential, people do vote for the leaders and people are not attracted to ‘beige’ politicians unless it is after a period of wacky vivid colour (Thatcher to Major)(and Major turned out to have a ‘wild’ streak as well  )

“We put all our politicians in prison as soon as they’re elected. Don’t you?” “Why?” “It saves time.”

You sure that’s a good idea?

No, that isn’t what I mean. I was thinking of assessments that look at personality preferences, e.g. whether you prefer complying to the rules or making new ones or what pace of work you prefer. You can also look at derailers which are things which are typically good eg being bold however in times of stress, complacency and left unchecked they can derail us. This is all about the individual at work, it isn’t anything clinical, e.g looking at personality disorders.

From what you say, that sounds more like a vetting check which is completely different.

What about an IQ test to start?

EQ test (on emotional intelligence) would be better - there’s lots of intelligent people who are very good & knowledgable about their topic area but can barely tie their own shoe laces without help.

He was earning a Million a year as a backbencher, being PM has cost him a fortune.

I dunno, I’ve seen Raab and Braverman speak, I think an IQ test would be illuminating. Not to mention Minister for ‘defending the indefensible’, Michael Ellis. The idiot’s idiot.
