You know what really makes me happy?

Only son?

3 brothers… Think they’re adopted though, parents insist they aren’t.

Making me happy tonight is discovering oatly barista style oat milk, a coffee game changer!

Hahahahah. She has deleted it. pic.twitter.com/kXqwFfEPg0

Love the reply question. Just love it!

Is the restriction in place so that it’s not obvious that we don’t actually have any aircraft capable of flying from the deck of a carrier?

interestingly i cannot see any NOTAM for this restriction (outside the normal in the area)…

Needed to buy a wood plane for my new desk woodwork project. Found an electric one nearby for £10. Picked it up, it works a treat, and still has its original receipt in the box from 1997!

Bargain.

That is particularly frustrating - on SkyDemonLite (my first source for NOTAMs) nothing is showing… :rage:

(perhaps this should be a GMG!)

edit: turns out to see it in lite a route needs to be plotted through the airspace before it is highlighted…

The company who’s lorry smashed my windscreen is paying for the replacement cost without any argument! Makes me happy they are being decent about it and not making me fight for it!

Just ran my first 10k!

Have been able to run 5k comfortably for about a year now and decided today to just go for it and run the 10. As that was my running goal for the year might just hang up my trainers now.

Well done. I ran min in October, not managed another one since! Really need to get back on it.

Your legs won’t thank you tomorrow!

Good job my desk is only about three feet from my bed then

I skipped 10k and went to 13…really just wish I could just go out and smash it tonight but I would have a cardiac episode

I made the mistake of running over a small hill on a (very long) lunch break one day last week - 280 m ascent in an 11 km run… I’m pretty sure I haven’t recovered yet :disappointed_relieved:

Getting post 1000 on this thread.

Though I came here to do a different one. Someone contacted me through ancestry to ask about someone on my tree (wife’s great great uncle). Then they said they had his WW1 medals, service records and wartime correspondence with his parents. They are sending them over to me now FOC. I’ll get them on to the wife’s grandfather as it was his uncle and he’s now the closest living relative.
