a link was generated by Wing, which was sent to me in 8 minutes i filled in the necessary items, within the week my OC confirmed my ID docs (Driving licence and passport) and then played the waiting game
Don’t get me started about why we’re still issuing paper certificates instead of it going straight onto Bader / Westminster / DBS Update service.
We’re not, the DBS service does.
But once the electronic details come through that gets added to SMS… Bosh!
You might need to wait for the certificate so as an individual you can register onto the update service
Which is what I’m complaining about. It should be an email or a notification via the portal for checking the status of your application.
Js ordered some new mtps 
Sign up for the update service, and do away with all the hassle.
