So if you were a 4 year old boy where would you hide your daddy’s work laptop? Asking for a friend
washing machine?
From experience, either oven or freezer.
GMG. Back in the office tomorrow…cant find my work pass face palm
Bin
Under sofa
Behind a door
In anything large enough with a lid or door
Under a newly formed pile of toys
In plain sight, where you left it…
I had to borrow a grinder to cut off the locks on my two sheds, as my daughter decided to hide the keys for it.
Annoyingly my grinder is in the shed…
Now I have multiple keys for it, including one each for me and Mrs Tornado.
Laptop wise, behind, under, down the side of, or under the cushion, of the sofa.
Under a mattress or pillow, toy box, wardrobe, drawer…
Probably in multiple pieces which is why it’s hidden - can’t see it = doesn’t exist.
I was going to suggest under his duvet/pillow too!
Good luck
have you checked coat pockets or similar garments? I have no idea when you last went into work but if it wasn’t August “summer” conditions you may have had a different wardrobe on…
In his shed in the back garden! That kid is going to be the death of me.
I’ve resorted to the grovelling I’m sorry email to security
Perfectly sensible place for a man to store an Internet connected, digital device!
He was just working from home.
You are lucky. If he’d been a few years older you’d be bidding to buy your laptop back off eBay
Gotta keep those V Bucks flowing somehow
Anyway, GMG…
Contact an eBay seller, because something hasn’t arrived. Seller jumps straight to “you’re trying to scam me”.
Not my fault you didn’t send it recorded and don’t have proof of postage. Not my fault that the item is worth more than what Royal Mail might offer in compensation. Couple quid more and it would have been trackable and insured to its value.
Sounds like the opposite… I discovered the hard way a few years ago that there’s sellers on ebay who “send” untracked then hope the buyer never bothers to chase it up.
I’ve wondered. Get the accusation in first sort of thing. All past feedback is good though.
It’s been a strange back and forward.
How do they know which way to go?
There are no cars to buy. Brand new ones have a 6 month lead time and all the 2nd hand stock are going before people can properly advertise them, and as such the price is being bumped up.
I just want a new car, why is it so hard
