At work, continental Europe, most are joining car club schemes where they pay a monthly fee similar to the lease amount but can swap to another car offered by the company behind the scheme after 28 days One colleague has a small city car for about 10 months of the year and then has a convertible or tourer for 2 months of the summer when they travel for vacation. They can even choose to have no car for a period and just pay a basic membership to stay part of the scheme for when they want a car again.
The way prices are going on most things I donāt see my grandkids owning homes or Cars they will all be leased, think my kids who are just approaching independent adulthood may even struggle to own a home.
Iām getting a potential friends and family quote and have multiple non discount quotes to compare it againstā¦ Will be interesting to see what they come up with

Finally, after the best part of a year putting off the queue for the tip, we decided to do it today. As today was Even day at the tip and the wifeās Fiesta is a 12 plate.

Our local tip just needs proof of address, although in April according to our councillor it had been suggested to do something like the number plate thing, but it got voted down. This works very well, the times Iāve been itās not been any busier than normal.
