Bizarrely, I had a dream about missing a train on the Underground last night 
I live several hours drive / train from London.

one of my best mates does actually live in Twickenham (and lived in Chiswick before that). His wife always mocks me for not understanding how long it actually takes to get across London, I think there was one occasion about 15 years ago where I sent him a text saying āIām at Euston, Iāve got 30 mins before my train, fancy a pint?ā, knowing he was at homeā¦

When I lived in Wimbledon for Bar School on Tottenham Court Road it often took 90 minutes to get in and 2 hours wasnāt out of the ordinary. And then if you missed the last train home those 13 miles would take even longer on the night bus.
I would have cycled but the roads are not safe for casual cyclists, plus I would have been over the limit most nights for getting home.

Iām still working on that with the long haired general. Weāve got offices in Bristol, Manchester and Leeds I could transfer to. Alternatively Iām making headway on persuading her a four year posting to Akrotiri would be good. Especially when comparing my CS grade to Military rank on their ridiculous conversion chart, weād get a nice sized house.

A little bit embarrassing. We all want to fly, just wait.
My fees for the shareoplane have to be paid each month, but itāll still be there when restrictions ease - and at least the engine fund is healthy!

I cringe at the Facebook posts in the groups Iām in.
Its as if their human rights have been taken away complaining that X or Y is allowed so why canāt I fly my plane?
Iām not at cadets and not flying so doing something else. Its winter anyway hardly the prime time for flying
You couldnāt think at all after a heavy sesh on that stuff.
Used to bring back demi-johns of the stuff in Vulcan bomb bay panniers. Seemed to travel OK.
A new screen for me Ā£500+ so Iāll take the excess any day.
