Has anyone tried or upgraded to X-Plane 12? I see its price has dropped on Steam so tempted to take a punt on it.
(Seems to be some feedback online that the Steam version is less up to date than the direct download)
X-Plane 11 is only £12 and does the job. I see this like FSX Steam and P3D 
If you have the money for 12 then I’d get it but expect a lot of slow updates with steam.
We have 11 on Sqn. 12 would be from my personal R&D budget.
