Wow - not sure about this

For the 17th time Scrinson, the fault lies with your CoC and the logistical service within the MOD. Go and whine and moan to them.

I’ll make this simple so even you can understand it. MOD sells MTP to surplus outlets. Surplus outlets sell to cadets. Ergo, cadets wear MTP.

See how it works?
1 minute someone says its issue from parent units. Another says its bought.

Which is it? And if your buying it, DPM is a lot cheaper and readily available, theres stacks of it.

And pEp. Trolling, not even once.

The people he was referring to it being issued to were the regulars which you were moaning about not getting the new stuff before cadets do.

The ATC does not issue No3s to cadets. (except those on the Junior Leaders Course) If a cadet manages to buy mk3 MTP in a surplus shop, it’s not their fault they have it before a regular. It’s the MOD’s for flogging it in the first place.

I’m struggling to think of anyone who really needs it, that is currently deploying on a current Op, that doesn’t have all the right gear. All my most recent kitting for Herrick 20 has been latest shizzle. All my “older” kit was perfectly fine for day to day duties at home.

I agree entirely. The kit is there for those who need it. The problem Scrinson is moaning about doesn’t exist.

No doubt the REMFs, Officers and cadets will get it before the lads that need it…
Actually cadets are more likely to get it first because at the time that the original shirt was made, there was less call for sizes in height 160. By the time they started to issue to cadets the new shirt was available and the new shirts were made in it. There were, however, older versions of the larger sizes available so larger cadets got the old shirt and smaller cadets got the new shirt.

But let’s not let facts get in the way of a good story.

Right, I’m going to lock this thread. It’s going in circles and some people appear to be trying to wind others up.
