Won’t be the only ones.
Cancel flights currently booked with enough time to not have to give compensation. Then relist flights at a higher price. Pretty expected to be honest.

Not sure if that is their approach - they really do need to conserve fuel for the longer (more profitable) routes - especially as a lot of airlines make a nice earner from international cargo that they carry. BA made £393M in 6 months in 2025:
Now that’s a hell of a scam. Find stuck tankers and container ships. Find their owners and/or management company. Pretend to be Iran offering safe passage for what ever toll the actual Iranians were suggesting, then collect money.

CSOC (or UKSTRATCOM, as it was at the time) already looked into this and banned them from its sites, which is awkward as loads of MT cars are now MGs.

Not just CSOC, I hear that some RAF stations have gone that way as well. But this is because most MT fleets are not controlled by the MOD anymore. Babcock swap out their fleets, go for the cheapest bid, linking with the HMG drive to be eco-friendly and Chinese EVs are the cheapest option.
Like anything in the MOD/CS, money speaks louder than words (or security in this case)

Funny story. All electric cars are not allowed near Pathfinder House at Wyton. You have to drive a circular route to the far corner of the staff carpark and then walk the rest of the way.
Unless, that is, you are a disabled civil servant. In which case you can park in the disabled bays…right outside the front door

I read today that he’s reached a 60 day limit on war without formal congressional approval?
I don’t think any of that matters any more.
His last term he failed to put his people into the right positions, so his shenanigans got stopped by proper checks and balances. This time he’s learnt, and he’s made sure there’s no one to stop him.
