Would I be right in thinking that:

  1. B2 Cats can wear the wings/crown now; and
  2. G2s can wear the pilot wings? or is that just rumours doing the rounds?

    2)I believe so, although I know some Sqns are still awarding pilots wings at the G1 level, my own included- probably due to a little CFI power trip. I don’t think anybody really gives too much of a hoot as they’re coming through the system since the time you spend as a G2 isn’t usually much more than a month or two anyway. If you find yourself spending a considerable period of time as a G2, then you either aren’t showing up or you’re not trusted to be a G1 (in which case you shouldn’t be trusted to be a G2 either.)
