To be fair anyone who deals with weapons in the organisation is SC cleared which is more than most civilian police officers are.
Is the designate security officerin any area also weapons qualified?
We haven’t got one yet in our Wing yet… or maybe we haven’t been told yet, for reasons of security

As far as I can tell the main benefit of the L144 has been that we don’t have to do any of that pesky ordering of ammunition.
