I currently have the wing marksman badge and I am wondering if it is any different to the marksman/advanced marksman badges. I used the L98-A2 when I did my wing and Wondered whether it is an older badge and should be upgraded/replaced to one of the silver marksman badges.

Have you squadron staff talk to your wing shooting officer.
As per the PTS transition poster, it should be upgradable to a Marksman badge (rifle with a star), and if you did that on the L98 I imagine you would expect a Silver badge.
