Just curious as I have to fill out a form with my rank on it, but I haven’t got my 3822 yet nor any of my uniforms, therefore from what I’ve heard I’m not actually enrolled. Would this mean I am a recruit? And if so what would be the abbreviation for it?

Alright thanks. Wasn’t sure if I was actually considered a cadet yet, because, as I mentioned, I don’t have my 3822 or uniform yet.
It’s a little complex, but essentially there are only 5 ‘official’ ranks (6 for CCF), which start at cadet. Other titles are often used (such as recruit, etc) but these aren’t your actual rank as such, just an internal title on your unit.
Once you start attending, you’re automatically a cadet.
