Hello,
Can anyone tell/help me on what is the purpose of the ‘Essential First Aid’ badge.
Does it replace the Heart Start badge as a redesign?
Do you do it after Heart Start before doing the Youth First Aid badge?
I’m just an cadet who is a bit curious.
Thanks.

Heartstart does not exist any more. The course was discontinued. EFA is its replacement.
I think if you already qualified for HeartStart you can continue wearing the badge until you requalify and change it to EFA.

Thanks.
That clears it up, because I was just looking on Cadet Direct and I was confused.
Rule of thumb… Take everything with a pinch of salt… Lots of opinions
