What are you watching?

Can’t wait to watch the finale…

Can also recommend Hijack. Another excellent ATV+ show (3 episodes available)

Went back to back on Extraction 1 & 2 on Netflix.

It was like a rubbish John Wick - albeit with a comparable body count.

However, it did have a series of very impressive single shoot fight scenes which looked really good with complex fight choreography and effects with some really awesome camera work involved.

Not watched the second yet, but seen the first a couple of times; planning to do what you did.

I put it in the “not top quality but scratches the itch for guns and explosions” category.

Air America. Just because.

The books by Christopher Robbins, Air America and the Ravens are fascinating about what went on. As Southern Air Transport they used to fly into Manchester in a Herc, regularly about 20 years ago.

Just watching C4s SkyCoppers about the West Midlands Police Drone Unit, why the hell have the RAFAC still go restrictions on their use. In a lot of cases they are the future and cadets are being left behind.

Gatekeeping.

Utter madness, cadets should be doing this sort of thing, not difficult to have them CAA qualified. Oh I forgot about 2FTS…ohhhhh can’t do that.

Something like this company, if they can’t do ACPS, then send cadets to do this, and can be conducted locally.

“I crash better than anyone else I know”

Haven’t seen it in years

Described in the details on Sky as “the Coppers with the tiny choppers” to much hilarity on UK Cop Humour

I’ve gone back to an old classic this evening. Looking back, it’s quite incredible how many common references started with this movie:

Great film. I was disappointed with the sequels but, with hindsight, they had no chance of living up to the expectations set by the original.

Watching marvels Agents of shield - quite enjoying it - kinda like a good version of “Scorpion”.

Whilst I like that they visit international locations kinda taken out of the suspension of disbelief when SHIELD visits……

Milton Keynes ?!?

To be fair, there’s nothing human about Milton Keynes

It makes sense. You have to be of alien origin to be able to navigate that stupid grid system of roads successfully without a map.

I really enjoyed Agents of Shield, It got properly thrown about by the second captain America movie destroying Shield a few seasons in with what seems little to no warning to the writing staff of AoS. However they use it well and make it work later on and diverge from the main MCU universe eventually, and honestly from there they just get better and better doing their own thing.

Currently watching stage 20 of the Tour de France. The scenes at the top of the current climb are amazing - the local rider leading the race, he’s retiring after this tour, and he has literally hundreds of local supporters out chanting for him.

It looks like one of the top climbs of the Tour, but it’s only a small climb in a small set of hills.
