Inside man with Stanley Tucci and David Tennant.
Started strong - had a lot of promise but ended feeling underwhelmed and as if I wasted my time!
Completely agree. Was such a shame how it ended.
Fallout, that’s it!
It’s been bugging me what game it felt like, but agreed it’s been a good watch so far. Interested to see where it ends up.
Stanlry Tucci played a supporting role to Brannagh in the film Conspiracy, played a convincing Eichmann, just as Brannagh played the role of Heydrich very convincingly. A film set in three rooms at Wansee mansion in Berlin which still stands today as a memorial.
Chilling film - a room full of bureaucratic lawyers from different departments arguing their own cases and points of law (Colin Firth as a ‘nice’ Nazi!) before being quietly and coldly steamrollered by Branagh
Gripping for a film predominantly based around a table.
It was based on the one surviving set of minutes found at the end of the war in the German foreign ministry archives when they should have all been destroyed. Amazing some of the participants of that meeting died peacefully in their beds rather than at the end of a rope at Nuremberg. There again I have never understood how Speer was only sentenced to imprisonment at Nuremberg.
If you want to Nation build and you want your courts to have credibility some people need to be found not-guilty and others need clemency.
What I’ve never got is how Speer was given 20 years but Hess got life.
Some of the files on Hess are still sealed for another 40+ years.
Suspect the answer lies there.
Same as some of the files I believe relating to the occupation of the Channel Islands.
I’m guessing Harry Potter has only just been added to Netflix? 8 of the current top 10 is all the Harry Potters!
It does remind me a lot like fall out even down to the retro tech from the computers. I’m also liking its originality as a sci-fi concept & as it’s coming out weekly it’s filling that niche that Picard was occupying.
Correct
Ted Lasso
Raiders of the Lost Ark
All 4 Indy films dropped in Disney+ today
Recommend steel town murders atm
Just finishing season one & it’s fab.
One of those I’m tempted to use in leadership training with cadets.
I from very close to this area and seeing lots of the old landmarks which have now gone is very weird.
Binged from the start to the end of season 3 in about a week, sad its over.
